New, reasonably priced product that can help revitalize your skin
Tina and I went to a flea market last Saturday in Three Rivers, Michigan. We sold her baked goods there. It was a small, indoor market that had some very interesting booths. A large book outlet, lots of antiques and trinkets. The booth that was set up next to ours looked like a bar taken right off of a beach from an island in the Caribbean. I watched the couple set up their booth with interest since it seemed there was much thought put into the display. They started putting some small white jars on the bar and then a large hand hewn wooden bowl filled with a thick white paste. I listened to him hawk his wares for a little while and when there was a calm moment, I struck up a conversation with him to find out what he was all about. Kim Kadas of Syracuse, Indiana has discovered an amazing product that he imports from Africa, repackages it here and sells from his home and his web site "WWW.GOLDENSHEABUTTER.COM" He has a long list of skin condition that he said this creme either cures outright or at least helps heal. As you could imagine, I was skeptical at first since he told me that his product had many many healing properties. He immediately picked up on my skepticism and invited me to try a sample from his crude wooden bowl. He scooped about 1/8th of a teaspoon onto a little wooden applicator and placed a little on the back of my hand. It smelled a little like latex and he said that if I was allergic to latex I shouldn't use it. My only allergies so far are lanolin, cats and pine oil, so I figured I was safe. I rubbed it in and after about an hour I looked at my hands. The skin looked more pliable, smoother and less wrinkled. After one application! I said, ok, I've got to try some of this stuff over an extended trial so I bought a small jar to take home. Over this last week, Tina and I have tried this product on some trouble areas of skin that we have. I have diabetic neuropathy in my legs and feet. Part of the visible signs of this is red blotchy skin on my shins from injuries over the years so i used some there. Tina has very rough, dry skin on her feet. So much so that her feet snag the carpet when she walks barefoot in the house. It's even hard for her to put on nylons without snagging or tearing them. Well, let me tell you that her heels and the sides of her feet are soft enough just from this past weeks application, that they do not snag anymore and the hard cracks are disappearing as well. My shin's dry red and blotchy skin has faded to a light tan, and the dry flakiness have improved greatly. So after a week, I'm sold on this stuff if it does no more than we have seen so far. I recommend that you look his web site over and read about this type of ripe, raw, 100% Shea Butter product. Give it a try and tell them that Mike and Tina wrote them up in their blog. While you are at it, we would be interested in what you found if you used their Golden Shea Butter. I will be happy to post your comments here. All for now.
